General Information
The College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs has established articulation agreements with the College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Colorado Boulder and with the College of Engineering, Design, and Computing at the University of Colorado Denver establishing 2+2 pathways allowing students to begin a course of study on the Colorado Springs campus and, after two years, transfer to either the Boulder campus or the Denver campus to complete a Civil Engineering B.S. degree. These agreements will allow students enrolled at in the College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs access to a guaranteed admission pathway to either of the other campus’s Civil Engineering degree programs, provided specified criteria are met while enrolled at UCCS.
When applications are reviewed for students in this partnership, for guaranteed admission, students must maintain consistent or improving grades throughout their technical coursework at UCCS and ideally attain grades of C or better in core math, science, engineering, computer science coursework.
After completing the first two years of the program through UCCS, students apply for admission to either the University of Colorado Boulder or the University of Colorado Denver through the transfer admission application and will be routed directly to the respective Colleges of Engineering for review. At the time of the transfer application, students must be enrolled in an engineering major at UCCS and this must be indicated on their transcript.
